American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Certification

AquaSafe offers complete recertification courses for Lifeguarding, CPR/AED and First Aid. The purpose of the course is to teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare participants to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drowning and injuries. Please note that in order to be able to work as a Lifeguard in the USA, you must posses these Lifeguard Certificates.

Training sessions are usually scheduled in the spring in many countries around the world. Training is 3-4 days and is taught by an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Instructor from AquaSafe.  This training gives you a chance to  learn about the job, and meet and make friends with other students who are going through the application process with AquaSafe prior to your arrival to the USA.

AquaSafe also organizes Pool Operator Training in your home country as well as Orientation by an approved representative.
